Girls Day 2023: Construction site instead of classroom

As part of this year's Girls' Day, the nationwide orientation day for girls' careers and studies, Nina, 11, swapped her classroom for a construction site for one day. Her conclusion: construction is cool and varied.
Nina spent her Grilsday at PORR Hochbau Region Nord in Hamburg. She got a taste of our commercial department and the BIM department and exchanged ideas with colleagues about their work. During an excursion to the construction site of the Wilhelmsburg nursing home, we showed her how planning and execution are interrelated. In the course of this, she checked the walls on the construction site. In addition, the excavator was explained to her while she sat in the excavator operator's seat to try it out.
By taking part in Girls' Day, PORR is actively committed to the future of young people and is committed to promoting diversity in the construction industry. We are delighted to have sparked Nina's enthusiasm for construction.
