State-certified innovation expertise as a sign of sustainable construction projects
Modern pile driver for the Frankipfahl NG®: automated control and innovative technology for greater safety and efficiency in use.
PORR has been awarded the BSFZ seal by the Research Allowance Certification Authority (BSFZ). This officially recognises the company's research and development activities in the field of specialised civil engineering.
The central project was the development of two new, innovative pile driving devices for the Frankipfahl NG®.
The equipment is automatically controllable, has a newly designed mackerel and allows the use of pile lengths of up to 16 m and 25 m. During development, particular emphasis was placed on reducing physical strain and improving health protection for operators.
New standards are being set thanks to a lighter, ergonomically optimised design and compliance with the highest safety standards in accordance with DIN 16228-4 and the Machinery Directive.
The development is also impressive in terms of sustainability: modern engine technology (TIER 5) significantly reduces CO₂ emissions. Sensors and automated control ensure precise processes. The specially developed remote control allows the pile driver to be loaded without a cab. This ensures greater safety and particularly easy handling.
The BSFZ seal confirms PORR's innovative competence in specialised civil engineering and makes this transparent for clients. This provides customers and partners with guidance on tested innovation processes, technological development and sustainable construction methods.
