Munich, 24 June 2025 – The German Sustainability Award Foundation has announced the nominees for the 18th German Sustainability Award. PORR is among the pioneers of the transformation to a sustainable future in the construction industry category.
A study by the University of Hohenheim shows that the German Sustainability Award (DNP) is the best-known and one of the most credible sustainability awards. The patron of the DNP is Bundestag President Julia Klöckner. With her commitment and as guest of honour at the 18th German Sustainability Award, she underlines the central role of parliament in a successful transformation.
In the first of two jury rounds, around 240 independent experts from research, business, associations and civil society in 100 industries voted on the nominees. The expert juries nominated around ten pioneers from each industry for this year's award. The decision criteria are based on the companies' transformation achievements, their innovative strength, pioneering role, signal effect, scalability and leverage effect of their contributions, as well as their development dynamics. The selected companies are beacons in their industries and provide impetus for a sustainable economy.
‘We are very proud to have been nominated for this year's Sustainability Award. This appreciation confirms our commitment to ESG. Our ’Intelligent Growth with Green and Lean‘ strategy sets the framework for our resource-conscious, sustainable actions,’ said Dipl.-Ing. Claude-Patrick Jeutter (COO) of the PORR Group and Managing Director of PORR in Germany.
