PORR explains special civil engineering through animated videos

Munich, 2 June 2026 – Through its ‘Special Civil Engineering in a Nutshell’ campaign, PORR explains key special civil engineering techniques in short, clear animated videos. Topics covered include the Frankipile NG®, diaphragm walls, jet grouting (DSV), micro piles and masonry renovation.
The aim is to explain complex construction processes in an accessible way and to facilitate the transfer of knowledge for designers, building owners and clients. At the same time, the format is specifically aimed at vocational colleges as well as universities, offering trainees and students a practical introduction to technical processes.
“With ‘Special Civil Engineering Compact’, we are making our processes transparent whilst aiming to inspire young people to take an interest in this discipline,” says Christian Rinke, Managing Director of PORR Special Civil Engineering.
