Through its gravel plant in Aschheim near Munich, PORR Rohstoffe GmbH operates in the extraction, processing and distribution of mineral raw materials. Its product range includes, in particular, sand, chippings, gravel as well as various aggregates and aggregate mixes.
The site produces various types of crushed and uncrushed aggregates for use in building construction, civil engineering, road construction as well as infrastructure projects.
The areas temporarily used for raw material extraction are reclaimed once they are no longer in use. This is carried out in accordance with the relevant regulatory requirements and site-specific specifications.

Our product range includes quality-controlled aggregates for concrete production, sand for screed production, as well as fill material for levelled surfaces and construction pits. Our range also includes chippings and various building material mixes for paths and car parks.
The materials are supplied to both external clients and construction sites in the Greater Munich area.
Digital systems are in place to coordinate material flows and delivery processes for transport and materials logistics. We also provide sites for the reception of excavated material.

A key aspect following the extraction of sand and gravel is the subsequent landscaping and utilisation of the sites. A prerequisite for this is the backfilling of the extraction areas. The sites are backfilled in stages in accordance with technical, regulatory and project-specific requirements.
Reclamation refers to measures for the design and use of former extraction sites. These include, for example, the creation of land suitable for agricultural use, as well as the development of vegetation and landscape areas in accordance with regulatory requirements and the planned land-use concepts.
The work is carried out on the basis of the relevant permits, reclamation plans and site-specific conditions.
