Jet grouting
Encyclopedia: Jet grouting
Jet groutingin accordance with DIN EN 12716
Sealing and stabilising soil are among the standard tasks in specialist civil engineering. As a leading provider of jet grouting, also known as high pressure injection technology, we offer comprehensive services from a single source and can thus always provide the technically and economically optimal solution for your construction project.
We use jet grouting to securely seal construction pit walls and floor slabs and underpin the foundations of existing buildings. The jet grouting diameters that can be achieved depend on the geological and site-specific boundary conditions. They are calculated individually for each construction scheme.
Our experienced staff will carry out the procedure professionally on your construction site. We have our own equipment for this purpose.

Applications
DSV columns are used to stabilise and seal the subsoil in loose rock and granular soil in all areas of specialist foundation engineering.
Common uses include:
- Sealing slabs in construction pits
- Underpinning buildings and other structures
- Site remediation (by binding or enclosing pollutants in the soil)
- Jet grouted shields (as drive protection in tunnelling)
- Grout curtains
- Soil stabilisation
- Sealing blocks
- Foundations
- Replacing foundations

Advantages
The wide range of available design variants means that optimum solutions can be found for every construction site and every subsoil.
The advantages of the jet grouting method include:
- Stabilisation and sealing of the subsoil
- Implementation can be flexibly adapted to any new findings relating to the subsoil, unforeseen obstacles, or changes in planning.
- The production of different column sizes, lengths and strengths ensures the required variety in execution.
- Multiple jet grouted columns can be placed side by side to produce standing or lying discs or walls, or three-dimensional structures (e.g. tunnel profiles).
- If small devices are used, jet grouting can also be carried out in confined spaces or at limited working heights.
- The production of jet grouted columns is low-noise and vibration-free, making them particularly suitable for use in densely populated areas and in the vicinity of neighbouring buildings that are sensitive to vibrations.
- They are produced according to a tried and tested high-precision method
- Safety during execution is monitored by applying high quality assurance standards.
Basic facts
Quality assurance
We use state-of-the-art jet grouting monitors, high-pressure pumps and mixing systems to meet today’s high standards in jet grouting execution and monitoring. The manufacturing parameters are documented and then digitally evaluated. This enables us to guarantee consistently high standards of quality.
We ensure high execution quality with:
- Individually coordinated instructions
- Compliance with the requirements of execution standard DIN EN 12716
- Clear processes governed by our quality management system in accordance with DIN EN 9001:2015
- Test columns
- Borehole measurements
- Documentation of jet parameters
- Diameters measured using tactile or sonic measurement technology, oscillation level measurement, tempjet
- Permeability testing, e.g. by recording thermal data
