25th work anniversary
A quarter of a century of dedication, reliability and team spirit
Kaiserslautern ,
Sascha is celebrating his 25th anniversary with the company this year. Since 2001, he has held a position of responsibility at the Pickließem site (Eifel) – initially as a site manager, and now as Site Manager of a three-person team. During this time, he has overseen numerous projects, overcome challenges and played a key role in shaping the development of Government Services. Reason enough to look back on his time at PORR together with Sascha and learn more about his experiences and the highlights of recent years.
Are there any projects or moments you particularly enjoy looking back on?
There aren’t really any ‘special moments’ in the traditional sense – every phase and every project has had its own ups and downs.
What do you like most about your job, and what makes working at PORR so special?
What I appreciate most about my job is the daily contact with a wide variety of people and the great diversity of our projects. No two projects are alike – from simply painting the exterior of a building, to supplying a wide range of materials for the US military, to the complete renovation of a building or the refurbishment of the instrument landing system. Every project brings its own challenges, and it is precisely this variety that makes the work so exciting for me.
I’d also like to highlight the working atmosphere, which has continued to evolve over the years. Friendships have developed with colleagues, ensuring that the work doesn’t feel like a typical 9-to-5 job.
I’d also like to praise our current management team and our company culture: I can’t imagine a better, more constructive and trusting working relationship at the moment.
Thank you, Sascha, for being part of our team!
