A platform for dialogue on the future of urban development

With 1,777 exhibitors from 37 countries as well as more than 42,000 attendees, Expo Real once again provided a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in the sector in 2026. Key topics included housing construction, financing and investable infrastructure, and their significance for the development of sustainable locations.

PORR’s exhibition stand focused on integrated approaches to the development of urban spaces. PORR demonstrated how different uses – such as housing, work, education, care and infrastructure – can be brought together within the framework of projects. Projects and services spanning the entire value chain were presented.

Expertise brought together at a single stand

Expertise from various areas within PORR was brought together for this purpose. Alongside the regional and Site Managers from the building construction regions, experts from the fields of data centres, healthcare and sustainability, as well as staff from the affiliate PDE Integrale Planung, were on hand for discussions. Furthermore, members of the PORR Executive Board and Board member Claude Jeutter used EXPO REAL as an opportunity for direct dialogue with clients, partners and industry representatives.

The numerous encounters during the three days of the fair demonstrated once again that the development of liveable cities that can be used in the long term can only succeed through collaboration between different stakeholders.
