Elke Kleres celebrates 25 years with the company
/ News
In today's fast-paced world, 25 years of service is a special and rare occasion. The BBGS Management was very pleased to express its appreciation to Elke Kleres together with a generous gift basket and congratulate her in the presence of many colleagues.
Including her years as a freelancer, Elke has been with the company for a total of 35 years. Elke starts her career in 1989 as a construction technician at the former Bilfinger + Berger Bau AG in Mannheim. From 1991, she continues to work in Kaiserslautern on a freelance basis while studying architecture. After successfully completing her studies, she works for a further 5 years as a freelancer in KL, parallel to a permanent position at the KL University of Applied Sciences. She then returns to work full-time as a work planner, architect and design manager. In 2009, Elke also qualified as a LEED AP. Since then, she regularly attends further training in this field and as an architect.
Not only does Elke enjoy the challenges inherent to the projects, but, since 2018, she also takes on the responsibility of Chair of the Works Council for the well-being of the employees and the good cooperation with the management. Elke particularly appreciates the excellent cohesion and team spirit between colleagues at BBGS and will continue to work tirelessly to promote this in the future.
It is no coincidence that Elke and Government Services came together. It is during her student exchange in the USA when she worked as an architectural drafter realises she wants to work for an international company. Looking back over the past 25 years, she confirms: "Some of the best experiences at BBGS were the assignments abroad, especially the year in Italy, but also projects in Bulgaria and at the locations of the BBGS subsidiaries”. The projects there are anything but easy, but anyone who knows Elke is aware of the high demands she places on herself and on her team. “High quality planning is always important to me – I do not compromise when it comes to construction!”. She makes a significant contribution to the success of the projects.
Dear Elke, thank you for your tireless efforts on behalf of the company and the loyalty of your colleagues!
