We are only satisfied when our customers are. Our aim is to fulfil their needs and wishes and to build something for them that is sustainable. In order to survive in the long term today, a company must fulfil its responsibilities in a wide variety of areas: on the one hand, responsibility for people and the environment, and on the other, for the efficient design of its management processes.
This is why the comprehensive safeguarding of quality requirements continues to be a top priority at PORR, and is a core element of our corporate policy. This includes both energy and environmental policy, as well as occupational health and safety policy (OHS). And while certification was initially a "nice-to-have", it is now indispensable in an international context.
To ensure our high standards, we document all work steps in process sequences and work instructions. We also take into account the impact of our construction methods on the environment. Quality assurance is carried out during construction and as part of the acceptance of the trade by means of internal quality assurance procedures.
Transparency is important to us.
The efficiency of our integrated management system is confirmed by the independent certification organisation Quality Austria. PORR is currently certified in accordance with the following standards:

The awards are regularly reviewed and renewed through audits and certification processes.
ISO 9001:2015 . Quality management system
Quality management ensures a continuous and holistic view of all measures for planning, controlling and optimising processes. The continuous development of our quality management system is an essential part of our daily work and corporate philosophy, for the satisfaction of our customers.
ISO 14001:2015 . Environmental management system
PORR uses the term "value preservation" to describe the environment. The responsible use of ecological resources, a clear commitment to environmental protection as well as value-orientated action form an important pillar of our sustainability strategy. The responsibilities, processes, guidelines and behaviours relating to environmental protection are successfully regulated in our environmental management system.
ISO 45001:2018 . Occupational health and safety management system
Employee protection has been a high priority at PORR since the company was founded. We are aware of our responsibility to protect the health and safety of our employees from hazards in everyday working life. Therefore, a functioning occupational health and safety management system is essential for us.
ISO 50001:2018 . Energy management system
We focus on the sustainable use of our resources. We aim to increase energy efficiency and reduce air pollutant emissions by using alternative drives and energies. Each division is required to systematically record environmental impacts as well as plan and implement improvements.
