Our clients’ requirements and expectations are at the heart of our project management. Our aim is to deliver projects whilst taking environmental, social and economic requirements into account.
To ensure the company’s long-term development, PORR takes into account requirements relating to the environment, health and safety at work, as well as the continuous improvement of its management processes.
Compliance with defined quality requirements is a key component of corporate governance and is enshrined in the corporate policy. This includes, amongst other things, the energy, environmental, safety and health policies.
To support these requirements, PORR documents work steps in process flows and work instructions. Environmental aspects of the construction methods used are also taken into account. Quality assurance takes place throughout the construction process as well as within the framework of internal quality assurance procedures during the acceptance of services.

The efficiency of our integrated management system is confirmed by the independent certification organisation Quality Austria. PORR is currently certified in accordance with the following standards:

ISO 9001:2015 . Quality management system
Quality management ensures a continuous and holistic view of all measures for planning, controlling and optimising processes. The continuous development of our quality management system is an essential part of our daily work and corporate philosophy, for the satisfaction of our customers.
ISO 14001:2015 . Environmental management system
PORR takes environmental considerations into account as part of its corporate strategy and its planning and construction processes. Objectives and measures relating to resources, emissions, energy, biodiversity and the circular economy form an integral part of the ‘Green and Lean’ strategy. Responsibilities, processes, guidelines and behavioural requirements in the area of the environment are set out and documented in the environmental management system.
ISO 45001:2018 . Occupational health and safety management system
Employee protection has been a high priority at PORR since the company was founded. We are aware of our responsibility to protect the health and safety of our employees from hazards in everyday working life. Therefore, a occupational health and safety management system is essential for us.
ISO 50001:2018 . Energy management system
PORR sets out targets and measures for the efficient use of resources and energy. The use of alternative propulsion systems and energy sources is intended to improve energy efficiency and reduce air pollutant emissions. The business divisions systematically identify relevant environmental aspects and plan appropriate improvement measures within the scope of their responsibilities.
