The final tiles and floors have been laid, the PV system has been approved and the preliminary inspections for fire protection have revealed no defects. The final work is now in full swing, as the handover is scheduled for 13 May 2024. "The steel construction on the outside of the building envelope is the only major work still missing. Stairs, roof garden railings and balconies will be delivered shortly, then we can start with the welding work and the extension," says site manager Gianluca Boenigk.

The client, AMM Holding, is aiming for DGNB Gold Standard certification for the three-storey building with staggered flat roofs and clinker brick façade, as well as an award of the Quality Seal for Sustainable Buildings (QNG). The roof was designed as an inverted roof to make the installation of the photovoltaic system as simple and safe as possible and to ensure an efficient construction process. The water-impermeable concrete roof itself acts as a sealing layer and eliminates the need for the plastic roofing membranes required for conventional flat roofs. The manager of the PORR site in Oldenburg, Matthias Burwinkel, is delighted with the smooth progress of the project: "Meeting deadlines is one of our most important principles in day-to-day business.
