PORR drives change forward: Award at the German Sustainability Award 2025

PORR is one of the top companies in the construction industry and was named a finalist at the 25th German Sustainability Award (DNP). The prestigious award recognises companies that successfully drive sustainable change.

The DNP is considered the most prestigious award for outstanding achievements in sustainability in Germany. Around 3,000 participants and over 150 international speakers gathered in Düsseldorf on 4 and 5 December to discuss the future topics of transformation.

‘The German Sustainability Award stands for credible transformation. Being honoured as a finalist and receiving this recognition is a special appreciation of our work for PORR,’ emphasises Natalie Schwendenwein, Head of Corporate Sustainability at PORR, who accepted the award.

The construction industry is at the heart of the transformation: sustainable materials, digital processes and circular concepts are shaping the future of construction. PORR is pursuing ambitious goals in this area: eight key areas of action with clearly defined measures and measurable targets for 2030 form the strategic framework for targeted implementation.

The German Sustainability Award is presented in cooperation with PWC, DIHK and WWF and supported by Leuphana University Lüneburg and score4more.
