Circular economy as a strategic focus

As one of Europe's leading construction companies, PORR is consistently committed to the principles of the circular economy. In practice, this means that materials remain in circulation for as long as possible, building materials are reused and processes are designed to conserve resources. With its ‘Green and Lean’ strategy, PORR is pursuing, among other things, the goal of optimising the use of raw materials and sustainably reducing environmental impact.

Study background

The study is based on extensive social listening, in which around 5 million online mentions of approximately 13,000 companies were analysed. Among other things, the tone and reach of posts on ecological and economic sustainability were evaluated. Companies that stand out particularly positively in the public perception were listed in the study.

For PORR, inclusion in the study is further proof that sustainable action is not only possible, but also visible and effective. As an active driver of the construction transition, PORR takes responsibility – for the environment and society.
