As a leading provider of soft gel injection processes, Stump-Franki Spezialtiefbau, a subsidiary of PORR, has received approval for a fourth soft gel called "Silitight-69-BIC" for injection into the subsoil in March 2023.

Silicate gels are used as an environmentally friendly and economical seal against rising groundwater. For each construction project, the aspects of sustainability are examined in detail before the start. They are mainly used in the construction of horizontal excavation sealing bases.

Stump-Franki attaches great importance to sustainability when carrying out injection work and injecting grout into the ground. For this reason, the company has developed groundwater-compatible injection gels for which it has general construction type approvals or general building authority approvals from the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt).

In March 2023, DIBt granted Stump-Franki approval for the fourth soft gel called silicate gel "Silitight-69-BIC". Markus Wenke, Regional Manager North, is pleased about the new approval and explains: "With the fourth soft gel, we can offer our customers not only the ecological advantages but also a high level of approval security when implementing their project. Should authorities reject a certain soft gel product for certain reasons, we now still have three building authority-approved alternatives available."
