Production environment with specific requirements

Cleanroom production placed specific demands on the planning and construction of the building. In addition to the structural works, cleanroom technology and building services engineering were key components of the project. The coordination of these areas formed a crucial interface between planning, building services engineering and the subsequent use of the facility for production.

Planning and construction as a main contractor

PORR was responsible for the construction of the cleanroom facility and, at the same time, undertook further planning work for the cleanroom and building services. In the course of the collaboration, Heraeus commissioned PORR to carry out additional work.

Structural requirements for cleanroom production

HQS 191 created a production environment in which the building and plant engineering were tailored to the requirements of cleanroom use. The integration of construction, cleanroom planning and building services engineering establishes the structural and technical prerequisites for the intended production processes at the Kleinostheim site.
