Residential construction

New construction of the Horstmarer Landweg student residence in Münster

Münster, Germany / 09.2011 - 03.2013

The rapid increase in the number of students at universities as well as the dilapidated condition of the student halls of residence, many of which were built in the 1960s and 1970s, often necessitate the rehabilitation or demolition of existing housing complexes and the associated construction of new student accommodation.

Oevermann Hochbau GmbH was awarded the contract as general contractor in a consortium with technical leadership for the planning and turnkey construction of the building project.

The new building complex comprises 7 buildings, each with 2 to 3 storeys and a partial basement, providing living space for a total of 308 students in the form of individual flats as well as shared flats for 2 and 6 students.
