The Premier Inn Hotel München City Schwabing became the third Premier Inn property to open in Germany in 2019, following Frankfurt and Hamburg. The Munich branch of PORR GmbH & Co. KGaA implemented the project. The hotel is conveniently located on the Frankfurter Ring between the Olympic Park and the English Garden. Streetcar and bus connections just outside the front door make it easy to start exploring the most famous district of the city with numerous pubs, stores, and green spaces along the Isar. The 8-story building was originally planned as a boarding house and thus has a special feature: The lobby and lounge are located on the 6th floor, where guests can enjoy a breath-taking panoramic view of the Alps when the weather is fine and the sky is clear.

Conversion of an existing property into a hotel with a cosy Brit Appeal
Two floors were completely gutted and rebuilt. In addition, the PORR team managed the custom interior fit-out through to completion. As with all hotels of the British premium economy brand, the amenities and range of services are excellent. From the wide variety of sweet and savoury cuisine in the lounge and the interior atmosphere characterized by British coolness to the luxurious Hypnos beds from the royal court supplier, excellent sound insulation, and blackout curtains in the rooms – numerous details ensure a good night’s sleep and all-around satisfied guests.
What ultimately counts in the construction business is successfully completed projects. PORR has many of these.
