SuedLink Elbe crossing ElbX

The SuedLink wind power line is a high-performance direct current line that is essential for the secure, stable power supply of tomorrow. It transports renewable electricity from northern to southern Germany and is a necessary step in the energy transition. As part of the expansion of SuedLink, the route plan also includes an underpass beneath the Elbe. Leading European grid operator TenneT TSO GmbH commissioned PORR tunnelling for the challenging construction project of the SuedLink Elbe crossing between Schleswig-Holstein and Lower Saxony.
