A smoothly coordinated team achieves record results 

Employer HBG Bauträger GmbH and PORR Building Construction Region North are a well-established team when it comes to the construction of public buildings. After the project in Bad Segeberg, they also collaborated successfully on an extension to the Ahrensburg Job Centre and a new building for the Employment Agency in Schleswig. Björn Motzkus, Technical Branch Manager at PORR Hamburg, commented on the partnership: “This project proves that quality, efficiency and close coordination must always go hand in hand. We were able to support the HBG team in planning the finer details and discuss many issues together on site.” 

Planned according to tenant requirements 

The responsible parties in the city and district of Bad Segeberg are delighted to see their clients in a bright, modern facility that offers everything they need in terms of training, work, qualifications and securing livelihoods under a single roof. Just over 100 employees in three offices are distributed over 135 rooms. As soon as you step into the entrance zone, you see terminals where you can enter your data electronically and search for apprenticeships and jobs. 

The building was built with a shallow foundation on a floor slab. The exterior walls are built from sand lime bricks with a thermal insulation system, while the interior walls - which are not load-bearing - are made from drywall. Parts of the white plaster facades were covered with clinker brick slips in order to create visual highlights.
