New hotel with 189 rooms in Munich city centre

189 rooms spread over nine storeys

The hotel has 189 guest rooms and is spread over nine storeys. The gross floor area is approximately 10,000 m², and the gross volume is approximately 31,047 m³. In addition to the rooms, the building comprises the service, technical and access areas required for hotel operations.

Jura limestone characterises the façade

Natural stone slabs made of Jura limestone were used for the façade. The natural stone comes from quarries in the Franconian Alb. This material has given the hotel a building envelope clad entirely in natural stone.

Facilities for hotel operations

The 189 guest rooms have been fitted with en-suite bathrooms. Soundproof wall constructions and blackout blinds are also part of the room design. The furnishings are complemented by box-spring beds.

Underground car park beneath the hotel

An underground car park is situated beneath the hotel building. It is integrated into the building’s access system and complements the other infrastructure areas. This ensures that use of the car park is directly integrated into the building complex.

Turnkey solution from a single source

PORR was responsible for the turnkey construction of the hotel building. The scope of work included the shell, fit-out and façade work, as well as the technical infrastructure. The individual trades were thus carried out as part of the overall contract for the new hotel construction.
