In the heart of Bielefeld Neumarkt, the building construction branch in Gütersloh erected a residential building and a 2-star-plus hotel under the name Quartier Bielefeld. The central square at Neumarkt was attractively redesigned and significantly upgraded.
Charly's House, a modern bed & breakfast hotel with 105 rooms and seven long-stay studios with kitchenettes, was built in the eastern building. Underneath the building is an underground car park that can be used by both the flat owners and hotel guests.
In the western building, PORR built 25 high-quality condominiums. The two- to three-room flats, ranging in size from 56 m2 to 95 m2 , have loggias facing west.

Building in the tightest of spaces.
A special feature are two high-quality penthouse flats with generous terraces and the best views over the market and the city of Bielefeld. During the construction phase, another building was erected in the immediate vicinity. Its completion overlapped with the shell construction work on the Bielefeld quarter and so exact coordination was required. Due to the confined space, necessary work measures had to be planned and coordinated in detail. For the delivery to the construction site and the positioning of the crane, the adjacent Kavalleriestrasse was closed off on one side.
Our specialists on site ensured constant and well-functioning coordination of delivery traffic so that inner-city traffic was not impaired.
What ultimately counts in the construction business is successfully completed projects. PORR has many of these.
