Residential and hotel complex at Neumarkt

Hotel building with 105 rooms as well as long-stay studios

The Charly’s House hotel was built in the eastern part of the complex. The building comprises 105 hotel rooms as well as seven long-stay studios with kitchenettes. An underground car park was constructed beneath the hotel, which is available to both hotel guests as well as local residents of the quarter.

Flats with loggias and roof terraces

Twenty-five owner-occupied flats were built in the western part of the building. The two- and three-room flats have living areas ranging from 56 m² to 95 m² and feature west-facing loggias. In addition, two penthouse flats with roof terraces were built on the top floor.

Building in an inner-city setting

Construction work took place within a densely built-up inner-city area at Bielefeld’s Neumarkt. Whilst the quarter was under construction, another building was erected in the immediate vicinity. Construction processes, material deliveries and crane locations were adapted to the limited space available. Sections of Kavalleriestraße were used for site logistics.

Residential and accommodation facilities in a quarter

The Bielefeld quarter has created a building complex comprising residential and hotel accommodation on Neumarkt. The project comprises 105 hotel rooms, seven long-stay studios, 25 owner-occupied flats, an underground car park as well as the associated developments and outdoor areas.
