The five-storey building, designed by architecture studio BKSP, has floor space of approximately 9,500m², an underground car park with 109 parking spaces, and boasts a high-quality, technically advanced standard of construction. Main entrances 1+2 feature a high-quality curtain wall made of prefabricated reinforced concrete parts. More than 900 floor-to-ceiling windows adorn the façade and flood the rooms with light. The ingeniously designed building grid enables flexible office use, from single and double offices to open-plan layouts. The anchor tenant is the international hearing implant specialist Cochlear Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG, which is relocating its headquarters to the Expopark.

Turnkey construction of new office and administration building
the modern building offers excellent infrastructure links in an attractive business environment. More than 150 companies with over 2,000 employees are already present on the Expo site. The location will be further enhanced with another 3,500 residential units and good local amenities, daycare centres and a primary school by 2023 as part of Lower Saxony's biggest housing project, ‘Kronsrode’.
A modern façade made of prefabricated parts
The building is accessed via two striking main entrances with an especially high-quality curtain wall that emphasises the metal elements that run up the exterior of the building. From the ground floor upwards, the entire perforated façade of the outer walls is made of prefabricated reinforced concrete parts. The projecting exterior elements, featuring struts aligned according to the position of the sun, showcases the metallic look of the façade to best possible effect. The unusual design of the front of the building is made even more distinctive by the special colour used – ‘Champagne Metallic’.
