BALTIQUE residential development

A district that combines harbor flair and residential comfort

PORR built an ensemble covering around 18,000 m² that blends harmoniously into the established harbor structure. The focus was on preserving the maritime character and successfully combining residential, service, and tourist offerings. The four construction phases are grouped around green inner courtyards. Twelve commercial units on the ground floor, facing the harbor, enhance the local offering. Above these, 144 condominiums and 107 high-quality vacation apartments with a south-facing orientation and unobstructed views of the Trave River were built.

The name of the new residential quarter is no coincidence, as there are numerous ferry connections from Travemünde to Scandinavia and Latvia. Thanks to its south-facing orientation towards the Trave, residents of the “BALTIQUE” have an unobstructed view of the hustle and bustle of the quaint fishing port and the marina with boat moorings directly in front of the property.

The location directly on a major tourist attraction placed high demands on construction site organization and material logistics. Thanks to many years of experience, precise planning, and a tightly scheduled logistics concept, all challenges were safely managed and a smooth construction process was ensured.

Individual living requirements efficiently implemented

The large number of special requests from private owners required particularly careful coordination. With professional sampling management, PORR ensured that individual fittings were delivered on time and implemented to a high standard of quality.
