Residential building comprising a total of 54 flats

Living close to the historic town centre

The residential complex is being built at Industriestraße 30, not far from the historic town centre of Alt-Aubing. The three three-storey buildings comprise a total of 54 one- to four-room flats with living areas ranging from around 30 to 106 m². A shared underground car park connects the residential buildings.

Building standards and materials

The three residential blocks are being built to the KfW Efficiency House 55 standard. The client’s ‘Wohngesund Bauen’ (Healthy Building) standard will also be applied to the flats. The plan is to use building materials tested for harmful substances, as well as to carry out a final indoor air quality test. The aim is to obtain certification for the project from the Sentinel Holding Institute. The shell will be constructed using, amongst other things, sand-lime brickwork.

Building in confined spaces

Limited space on the building site and access to the plot influence site logistics and the organisation of material deliveries. The project team is using Lean management methods to plan and manage the construction processes. The individual construction phases and workflows are coordinated within the project organisation.

Three residential buildings on a single site

With these three buildings, the site on Industriestraße is being developed as a cohesive residential complex. A variety of flat sizes, the shared underground car park and the coordinated building layout create the structural conditions for future residential use at the Alt-Aubing site.
