München, / Building construction
After an intensive planning and runtime, a significant milestone has been reached for the ‘Münchner Höfe’ residential construction project in Munich-Aubing: the shell of the building is complete. This milestone was celebrated on Thursday, 31 July 2025, with a topping-out ceremony attended by everyone involved in the project.
‘We are delighted to have PORR as a strong partner at our side and to be working together on a project that not only creates urgently needed living space for the region, but also sets standards for healthy and sustainable living,’ says Hans-Jürgen Huber, Managing Director of Krieger + Schramm housing München.
Oliver Fürstmann, Technical Director of Building Construction South, added: "This festive occasion marks an important milestone in our successful collaboration with our client. We are now pressing ahead with the expansion using Lean construction methods and are jointly moving towards the next phase of the project.
At Industriestraße 30, PORR building construction Region Süd is working with Krieger + Schramm housing München GmbH & Co. KG to build a modern residential quarter consisting of three buildings with a total of 54 residential units as well as a shared underground car park. The project started in August 2024 and construction has been proceeding according to plan ever since.
The three turnkey buildings are being constructed to the energy-efficient KfW 55 and K+S Wohngesund Bauen Plus standards and offer living spaces between 30 and 106 square metres – tailored to different stages of life and needs, from singles to families.
