Special civil engineering with nature conservation: a project film about the mooring work in Straubing harbour

As part of the Danube expansion between Straubing and Vilshofen, the harbour basin in Straubing-Sand harbour was deepened. Our specialised civil engineering team was responsible for the anchoring work. The existing sheet pile walls were reinforced with 1076 permanent grouted anchors. Our subsidiary company Stump-Franki was awarded the "Sustainable Construction Site - Special Civil Engineering" pre-certificate by the @DGNB German Sustainable Building Council for its excellent performance in the areas of construction site organisation, resource conservation, health & social issues and quality of construction work.
The exciting project film shows the tasks and challenges the team had to overcome on the construction site and while working on the water.
