What was a building site just a few months ago is now a vibrant neighbourhood taking shape. Building A and the underground car park were handed over as early as December 2025. This was a significant milestone that laid the foundations for the subsequent completion of Buildings B and C. The two further buildings followed as planned at the end of January. Since then, the flats have gradually been coming to life.

Behind this progress lies a construction management process consistently geared towards meeting deadlines. Earthworks, structural work involving reinforced concrete and masonry, as well as roofing, façade and finishing works, all dovetailed seamlessly. Particularly during tightly scheduled construction phases, it was crucial to coordinate processes precisely and maintain stable interfaces.

Close coordination between all parties involved played a central role in this. Together with Fourmove Architekten Partnergesellschaft, the planning was continuously refined and the construction supervision closely monitored. This ensured that the client’s high quality standards were met throughout all project phases.

“The on-time handover of the Commerhof residential quarter is the result of close and collaborative partnership between all parties involved. The fact that the client was able to move into their staff accommodation as early as the end of 2025 and that the remaining flats are ready for letting as scheduled confirms the project’s success,” says Torsten Donath, Senior Site Manager at PORR Hochbau West.

A residential quarter with prospects

The Commerhof residential quarter comprises three three-storey buildings featuring modern architecture. Spacious terraces, loggias and balconies create individual outdoor spaces and define the complex’s appearance. The ensemble is complemented by an underground car park with a total of 28 parking spaces.

One third of the flats are earmarked for the client’s employees, whilst the remaining units are being offered on the open market. A penthouse has also been built on the top floor of one of the buildings, which is occupied by the client himself. The development thus combines a variety of housing needs, set within a growing neighbourhood that is complemented by additional infrastructure such as local amenities and a nursery.

As a result, Commerhof is not only creating new living space, but also contributing to urban development that enhances quality of life in the long term.
