Low temperature asphalt.
Low-temperature asphalt, also known as temperature-reduced asphalt, is an innovative road construction material. Compared to conventional hot asphalt, this asphalt is produced and processed at significantly lower temperatures, up to 30°C less. The main advantages are considerable energy savings and a reduction in emissions, especially CO₂. In addition, this asphalt reduces the formation of vapours and aerosols during paving, which benefits both the environment and the health of workers.
