With a precision landing, the B3 Südschnellweg consortium, consisting of PORR's civil engineering and special civil engineering divisions and the Hagedorn Group, has reached another milestone in the Südschnellweg project in Hanover: With the completion of the asphalt paving - just in time before the rain, which reached the state capital an hour later, the “blacktop” on the temporary structure was successfully closed.

The final countdown to the opening of the temporary bridge to traffic is now underway. The construction site team is working at full speed and in close cooperation towards this important date on October 28, 2024. In the last few weeks until acceptance, the consortium is concentrating on the remaining work on the temporary bridge: These include the installation of the noise protection elements, railings and road barriers as well as the production of the road markings.
We congratulate the entire team and look forward to the final spurt towards the opening to traffic.
